Welcome
My interest in photography, was sparked by my first form master Mr. Rod Salmon whilst at school in Pontefract. I was 11 years old. He ran an after school club which included access to a darkroom, where we were taught black and white printing techniques. I saved and bought my first 35mm camera whilst still at school.
When I started work, I was able to upgrade my gear over the years. I travelled widely using film. Then along came digital photography. I turned my back on the darkroom and moved to the even darker arts of the computer.
I have made friends through recent years with some keen photographers and would like to thank my mates, Alan Cockroft and Howard Taylor whom I met through the Horsforth Photographic Club. They have been constant guides and fonts of knowledge over the years.
Here is a glance at some of my work. The site is under construction. I confess to being the worst editor of my own work, so it may take some time for this project to come right.
